It was a long grinding slog, but finally, mercifully, thankfully TAMNI is done! At least season 1 that is. The final episode wasn’t bad, but was pretty much a microcosm of everything good and bad with the show.

I wish… asread could have spent the time and money to make the design and animation even merely average. I’ve gotten used to the terrible quality of the animation. But every now and then I can’t help but cringe at an elongated chin, or a malformed head or a criminally thin body limb. Even Mako-chan [...]
Because they’re either tipping off the “final battle” way too early, or this show isn’t really 24 episodes (hooray!). If that were really the case, it would be the best thing to happen to the show since the promising first episode.
