(This post is spoiler free.) Source I’ve heard so many good things about Haibane Renmei that I’ve been angling to watch it for a while now. I didn’t know much about it though, so I didn’t know exactly what to expect. But it was indeed as great as I’ve heard.
Holy cow, did DEEN even look at this episode before airing it? The white highlights and soft glows were unbearably bright. Half the time you couldn’t even make out the lines on the characters’ faces. Budget saving tactic by skimping on details? Whatever the thought, this episode looked awful.
