Heroman is now finished! The ending didn’t make too much sense, but it was pretty dang intense.

I decided to write 23 and 24 into one post, as my 23 download didn’t work, so I had to watch it on Cruchyroll, which doesn’t make for easy screencaping.

So talking about finally learning things, we get the story behind what happened to Joey and Holly’s dad in the coal mine. Interestingly enough, Holly still has a lot of anger at her dad. She challenges Joey to find out what being a hero really means, which as Joey has limited intelligence, sends him into [...]

In the first half, the boys get government assistance and find that there’s something going on in the mine. Although, the only one thing of real importance happens in the first half, that being we finally find out how Psy hurt his leg.

Episode 20’s opening scene is very chilling. We watch a father reassure his daughter that everything will be okay, only for her to have to watch him be kidnapped by an alien. I felt so bad for the little girl.

Right after Heroman starts to get interesting we get…a filler arc? Typical beach episode that turns into Joey, Lina, and new guy being hunted on the beach by big bad while we don’t know where everyone else is. To be blunt, I have a lot of Heroman to catch up on. I still have seven [...]

Well, this was a really cool episode. Quick paced, really compelling, possibility of a deeper plot. It only took us what…17 episodes to get there? Oh well. The new arch starts off with a new villain, although it’s quickly becomes obvious who he is despite his identity being hidden until the end of the episode. [...]

I have to be blunt, I think part of the reason I’m having trouble catching up on Heroman is I just don’t care about the characters or the story that much. At this point, what interest I had has been completely lost. Rest assured, I will catch up and finish the series, its just a [...]

After a couple of slower episodes (well, for Heroman) the plot moves quickly in this one, so much that at points, I had trouble keeping of track of all the little details of what was going on. I think I got the main points, and that’s what matters.

And Heroman has a new opening and ending theme. I really like the new opening theme, while the forty seconds of depressed people was a little weird, everything else was really cool (Stan Lee action pose for the win!) and I really liked the song.
