Now maybe KyoAni will pull some rabbits out of their hats next week, but I think we're going to see the same thing again for the first 20 minutes, and then they'll reveal the payoff in the last 2. They could've easily wrapped this arc up in 2 episodes, and absolutely done so in 3. Now pulling a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrance_and_Phillip_in_Not_Without_My_Anus" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">"Terrance and Phillip in Not Without My Anus"</a> would've been hilarious, if they did it after the 2nd episode and resolved it with the 3rd, but not to spoil anything, and I don't think I am, but I'll put the tag on anyway, <spoiler>the payoff is really not that special</spoiler>. So putting the resolution off to the last episode would lose everyone's attention, IMO. But I guess we'll see. Gotta give credit to KyoAni for keeping us on our toes or something like that. However, a trap even more evil lurks in wait. What if: next episode is about an unrelated situation, with following episodes hinting at big events offstage - and the final resolution of 'endless eight' is saved up for the very last episode. I’m liking it – though mostly because so much buildup promises a very good payoff and KyoAni just might, maybe, have the smarts to pull it off. However, a trap even more evil lurks in wait.
