K-On 03: Talking About My Generation

This episode didn’t work for me. Maybe it’s because I’m not a huge Ritsu fan as she’s my least favorite of the four girls. I don’t really know. It just didn’t click for me, and felt flat. Maybe it’s my mood. I’m dead tired right now.

This episode was Ritsu centric where Ritsu is burned out on the drums and tries out some new instruments. At the end though, she remembers why she loved the drums, and returns it with a newfound passion.

The scribbles on the board are adorable.

I did really enjoy Ritsu reminiscing on why she started playing the drums in the first place. Thinking back, it does seem a little too convenient that the drum set happened to be there. It was very cute.

I also liked seeing the girls talk about The Who. I absolutely love The Who.

Listening to Ritsu try saying The Who was amusing.

The idea of Mugi on vocals excites me greatly. Looking at the next episode, she won’t be singing in the next episode, but hopefully she will be soon.

  1. I loved this episode! Big Ritsu fan. 🙂

I was disappointed there was no mention of Yui’s hilarious “Jakka jakka jakka jan jan… Jakka jan… JAKKA JAN” trying to ‘communicate’ with Ritsu in the back playing drums, haha.

  2. Awesome as usual..the art/animation budget on this is at a whole new level it seems.

Mio still the scary cat XD

not as good as the last one but there were still a few laughs this time.
