Can’t say I loved the 8 year time skip, but how cool was it seeing Sentarou and Kaoru jamming again?

And the final scene where Ritsuko meets up with the two – is it a super hammy, unrealistic ending? Sure… but seeing the three together again was a brilliant final bow to their friendship which I thought fell flat way back when Ano Hana gave us its melodramatic best effort.
I am really, really going to miss watching this show weekly. *sniffle* And although a sequel was never an ideal fit, Kids on the Slope is one of the rare few shows that I really wish would’ve kept the door open for it.
