Well, that was fun. A lot of fun actually. Zombie flicks should be relatively brainless, violent and provocative. High School of the Dead hits on all those marks.
First impressions
There’s no way I can say it better than Scamp did in his post, but what they hey. I’ll give it the ole’ college try.

Even though I haven’t really enjoyed Key’s works before, Angel Beats was one of the shows I was looking most forward to this spring, if only because it sounded like Key was breaking out of their typical depressing harem mold. Well, I guess I might as well write this since I’m still around. But I’m going to go out on a limb here. B Gata H Kei will be the best comedy of the season. Better than Arakawa. Better than K-ON. Better than Working. Or any of the other 2-bit harem comedies. Whoa there.
Apparently this was just a preview airing of the first episode of Working. The show doesn’t really kick off until the first week of April. It’s Shizzy-chan and Izaya-kun!
