When she was aiming the gun presumably at Beatrice and definitely away from herself, the gun was parallel to the beams. And we see that the gun is <em>still</em> parallel to the beams when it goes off. Unlike Oyashiro-sama, it seems like these witches are more openly active about sticking their hands into the Ushiromiya's lives and stirring the drink, so to speak. In other words, witches exist just like Oyashiro-sama. However, Oyashiro-sama simply existed as a plot device to rewind time. She wasn't actually behind the events in the mystery. Same here. Witches have their place, but it is not them behind the murders. And this episode was indeed amazing. Loved the scene where they debate what happened to them. Wow!
